Fairfax home prices rise in August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Fairfax rose by $42,500 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $272,500 - a 18.5% increase over the $230,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Fairfax in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
