Cedar Rapids home prices rise in September 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2020 in Cedar Rapids rose by $15,750 while total sales decreased by 57%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2020, there were 105 homes sold, with a median sale price of $152,000 - a 11.6% increase over the $136,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 244 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in September 2019.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,561, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for September 2020.
