Central City home prices fall in the third quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2020 in Central City fell by $11,445 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2020, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $142,500 - a 7.4% decrease over the $153,945 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Central City in the third quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2020.
