Cedar Rapids home prices rise in October 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2020 in Cedar Rapids rose by $3,000 while total sales decreased by 20.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2020, there were 169 homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,000 - a 2.1% increase over the $142,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 212 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in October 2019.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,561, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for October 2020.
