Des Moines home prices rise in November 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2020 in Des Moines rose by $8,000 while total sales increased by 13.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2020, there were 388 homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 5.6% increase over the $142,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 343 homes sold in Des Moines in November 2019.

The median sales tax in Des Moines for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,488, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for November 2020.
