What happened to the median home price in Cedar Rapids during 2020?

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Cedar Rapids rose by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 16.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 2,262 homes sold, with a median sale price of $146,000 - a 3.5% increase over the $141,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 2,708 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in 2019.
