Fairfax home prices rose in 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Fairfax rose by $7,250 while total sales decreased by 21.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 60 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,250 - a 3.2% increase over the $230,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Fairfax in 2019.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for 2020.
