Central City home prices fell in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Central City fell by $6,390 while total sales decreased by 21.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $142,500 - a 4.3% decrease over the $148,890 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Central City in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Central City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,207, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
