The second half of 2020: Home prices in De Soto fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in De Soto fell by $16,853 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $186,047 - a 8.3% decrease over the $202,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in De Soto in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
