The second half of 2020: Home prices in Center Point increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Center Point rose by $16,450 while total sales decreased by 31.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $199,950 - a 9% increase over the $183,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Center Point in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Center Point for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,019, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
