Bettendorf home prices fell in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Bettendorf fell by $12,500 while total sales increased by 482.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 338 homes sold, with a median sale price of $276,750 - a 4.3% decrease over the $289,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Bettendorf in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Bettendorf for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,516, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
