Median home prices in Fairfax fell to $232,000 in the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Fairfax fell by $15,500 while total sales decreased by 31.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $232,000 - a 6.3% decrease over the $247,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Fairfax in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
