Home prices decreased in Cedar Rapids during December 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2020 in Cedar Rapids fell by $1,250 while total sales increased by 11.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2020, there were 202 homes sold, with a median sale price of $147,750 - a 0.8% decrease over the $149,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 181 homes sold in Cedar Rapids in December 2019.

The median sales tax in Cedar Rapids for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,561, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for December 2020.
