Pricing for the median home in Fairfax decreased during the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Fairfax fell by $49,000 while total sales increased by 140%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $193,500 - a 20.2% decrease over the $242,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Fairfax in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
