Fairfax home prices fell in May 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2021 in Fairfax fell by $105,001 while total sales increased by 80%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2021, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $184,999 - a 36.2% decrease over the $290,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Fairfax in May 2020.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,172, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for May 2021.
