Marion home prices rose in August 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Marion rose by $39,700 while total sales increased by 57.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were 120 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 20.3% increase over the $195,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Marion in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,258, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
