The second half of 2021: De Soto experienced a 27.9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in De Soto rose by $51,953 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $238,000 - a 27.9% increase over the $186,047 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in De Soto in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
