Dubuque College Visit Week to Highlight Diverse Opportunities in Higher Education

Dubuque has a rich history synonymous with education. In August, the city's five colleges are partnering with the Dubuque College Access Network (DCAN) to highlight the diverse opportunities in higher education available for students during the second annual Dubuque College Visit Week from Monday, August 1, 2022, through Friday, August 5, 2022.

Clarke University, Emmaus Bible College, Loras College, Northeast Iowa Community College, and the University of Dubuque are excited to welcome high school students to campus with in-person visits during Dubuque College Visit Week.

"As a group, we are aware that there is no better way to learn about a college than visiting and seeing the campus. The educational experiences in Dubuque are exceptional and this is a great way kick off the academic year and your college search process. The experiences students receive during Dubuque College Visit Week will serve them well as they begin building a foundation of knowledge from which to choose their dream school and/or career path," said Robert Broshous, vice president of enrollment management and dean of admission at UD.

During Dubuque College Visit Week, prospective students will have the opportunity to tour campuses with student ambassadors, meet with professors about their academic area of interest, learn about student activities and programs, meet with admission counselors, and more.

Visit one college or all five to discover the educational experiences available to help prepare students for the future that awaits them. Please follow https://dbqcollegevisit.com/ to schedule a visit during Dubuque College Visit Week.
