The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has announced its endorsement of Representative Ashley Hinson for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Iowa's 2nd Congressional District. The NFIB, a prominent small business advocacy group, highlighted Hinson's commitment to supporting small businesses as a key factor in their decision.

Matt Everson, NFIB Iowa State Director, stated, "From day one, Representative Ashley Hinson has proven her leadership when it comes to defending the rights of small business owners and their employees." He further emphasized her efforts in advocating for lower taxes and reducing government regulations that impact small businesses. Everson expressed the organization's strong support by saying, "On behalf of our nearly 12,000 NFIB members in Iowa, we enthusiastically endorse Rep. Ashley Hinson and look forward to her re-election in November."

Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also praised Hinson's work in Congress: "Representative Ashley Hinson is a true champion of small business owners in Congress." She noted Hinson's voting record on small business issues and her role as an original cosponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act. Sussin added, "We know Representative Hinson will continue to be a champion for Main Street and we are proud to endorse her for re-election today."

The endorsement was issued by NFIB FedPAC, the political action committee of the organization. This committee is funded through voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their membership dues. Decisions regarding endorsements are made through a grassroots evaluation process led by members.
