Marion home prices fall in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in Marion fell by $10,000 while total sales increased by 4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were 103 homes sold, with a median sale price of $165,000 - a 5.7% decrease over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 99 homes sold in Marion in July 2018.

The median sales tax in Marion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,255, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for July 2019.
