Dubuque home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Dubuque rose by $10,000 while total sales increased by 7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 245 homes sold, with a median sale price of $163,000 - a 6.5% increase over the $153,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 229 homes sold in Dubuque in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Dubuque for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,385, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
