Peosta home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Peosta rose by $56,200 while total sales increased by 80%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $301,200 - a 22.9% increase over the $245,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Peosta in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Peosta for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,110, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
