Altoona median home prices rose by 5.3% in February 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2021 in Altoona rose by $11,500 while total sales decreased by 30.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2021, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,500 - a 5.3% increase over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Altoona in February 2020.

The median sales tax in Altoona for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,448, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for February 2021.
