SOUTHWESTEN COMMUNITY COLLEGE: New student orientation 2021

New

Southwestern Community College issued the following announcement on June 09.

New students for fall 2021, we can't wait to have you on campus!! If you haven't already done so, please check your email for information from the SWCC admissions department about SWCC's Online New Student Orientation. All new students are required to complete orientation prior to starting classes on August 25 (NOTE: High school students registered for dual enrollment courses will receive information in August regarding their orientation from the secondary programs office).

The email will include instructions for how to get registered for the Online New Student Orientation. During this orientation course, you will be introduced to valuable information on a variety of campus resources, as well as presentations on topics including New Student Orientation 101 presented by SWCC's Dean of Student Services, a session on access to student technology, a session on financial aid, along with an opportunity to ask questions.

If you haven't received the email, please contact SWCC admissions at admissions@swcciowa.edu or 641.782.1421.

Also, if you'd like to come to campus for a day to complete activities and learn your way around, please register for Experience Southwestern! During Experience Southwestern, new SWCC students will be invited to tour campus, register for classes, meet other new students, acquire campus parking stickers, get their student IDs, visit with faculty and staff, and learn about essential campus resources--all while having FUN! REGISTER NOW!
