Join us in the Conference Room at the Graduate Center for a speaker led discussion each month about women in leadership!
Each speaker will share advice about their journey in leadership, and how they overcame the challenges they experienced. Everyone attending will have the opportunity to ask questions, break in to small groups, and network with others.
A lunch will be provided during this first session.
Michelle Niermann | Speaker
President and Chief Executive Officer – UnityPoint Cedar Rapids
Michelle is a healthcare leader with extensive experience in healthcare system operations, strategic planning, and organizational development. She serves as President & Chief Executive Officer for UnityPoint Health –Cedar Rapids, where she started her career as an administrative fellow, and now has the distinction of being the first female CEO in the hospitals 130 year history. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on the boards of several area nonprofits. She is also on the Board of Directors of Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
Michelle has been at the helm of one of the cities’ most vital industries during a historically tumultuous time. We are honored to have her join us for our inaugural meeting to share her reflections and foresight.
