The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Des Moines rose by $10,750 while total sales decreased by 0.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were 1,019 homes sold, with a median sale price of $163,000 - a 7.1% increase over the $152,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,020 homes sold in Des Moines in the first quarter of 2021.
