Falling home prices in Altoona in the first quarter of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Altoona fell by $21,690 while total sales decreased by 11.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were 70 homes sold, with a median sale price of $221,810 - a 8.9% decrease over the $243,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Altoona in the first quarter of 2021.
