De Soto home prices rose in the first quarter of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in De Soto rose by $35,100 while total sales decreased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 17.6% increase over the $199,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in De Soto in the first quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,330, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
