Leisure Services Hosting Second Job Fair for Seasonal Positions on Feb. 8

The City of Dubuque Leisure Services Department will host its second job fair with on-site interviews for 2023 summer and seasonal positions on Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave.

This event is open to the public and no appointments are necessary. All skill and experience levels are welcome. Jobs are available for ages 15 and up. “More than 250 summer and seasonal positions are available,” said Recreation Supervisor Janna Beau. "We will be offering on-site interviews for several positions. Interested candidates can apply in advance online or we will have computers and application assistance available for those who want to apply at the job fair.”

Job opportunities are available with the Recreation Division, Parks Division, City pools, Bunker Hill Golf Course, Port of Dubuque Marina, AmeriCorps, and Multicultural Family Center. Hourly wages range from $14 - $20.

  • golf course grounds/maintenance worker

  • pool laborer
  • pool manager
  • parks groundskeeper
  • park ranger
  • park fee collector
  • landscape crew member
