DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicole Crain, Executive Vice President, to BIPAC’s board of directors.

BIPAC is a national organization with a mission to advance economic prosperity by empowering private-sector employees to become pro-jobs voters and advocates through voter education, grassroots advocacy, and PAC participation. Its board serves to continue that mission through oversight and insight of its operations and initiatives.

“BIPAC’s board is a diverse group from around the country representing the broad range of American businesses,” said BIPAC President & CEO Tim Riordan. “Board members play a critical role in ensuring we fulfill our mission to support and serve American businesses, their employees, and their communities. Nicole gets Iowa politics, businesses, and workers and I look forward to working with her to foster growth, innovation, and prosperity at both the federal and state levels.”

ABI has a long-standing partnership with BIPAC, led by the organization’s leadership team and Crain, to help provide Iowa employers with nonpartisan materials that explain to employees and associates the importance of state and federal elections.

“As one of our state’s best public policy professionals and as someone who has impacted policy both in Des Moines and in Washington, DC, Nicole is perfect for this role at BIPAC,” said Mike Ralston, ABI President. “We are thrilled that an organization such as BIPAC, which is a national leader in bipartisan efforts to promote effective political programs, would ask Nicole to serve on its board.
