A man from Blue Grass has been sentenced to 216 months in federal prison for producing child pornography. The sentencing took place on June 26, 2025, in Davenport, Iowa.
Court documents and evidence presented at the sentencing indicated that Christian Brew Allen, aged 58, was associated with an account flagged by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The account was found to have received, uploaded, and distributed files containing child sexual abuse material. During a search of Allen's residence in Blue Grass, law enforcement seized electronic devices. A forensic examination revealed that these devices were used to receive, upload, and distribute over 2,000 images and 175 videos of child sexual abuse material. The investigation also uncovered that Allen had produced and saved several videos involving a minor victim.
Upon completion of his prison term, Allen will serve an eight-year term of supervised release as there is no parole in the federal system. Additionally, he has been ordered to pay $97,000 in restitution.
United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal of the Southern District of Iowa announced the sentencing. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation.
This case falls under Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, this project coordinates resources across federal, state, and local levels to apprehend individuals exploiting children online and rescue victims.
