On July 8, NFIB Iowa hosted a webinar to review the events of the 2025 legislative session. The discussion was led by NFIB State Director Matt Everson, who provided an overview of the legislation tracked by the organization, achievements made, and goals for small businesses in the coming year.

Josh McLeod, NFIB Director of Federal Government Relations, addressed efforts in Congress aimed at making the Small Business Deduction permanent and repealing Beneficial Ownership reporting requirements.
