The Iowa Transportation Commission is set to hold a public input meeting in Corning on August 12, 2025. The event will take place at the Corning Opera House, located at 800 Davis Avenue. Representatives from local government, interest groups, and individuals are invited to discuss various transportation issues. Topics may include the Iowa Transportation Improvement Program, transportation policies, and matters related to highways, aviation, rail, river transport, bicycles, pedestrians, and public transit.
The session will start with a brief business meeting at 8 a.m., followed by the public input segment. An agenda will be available on the Iowa Department of Transportation's website before the meeting.

Additionally, on August 11, commissioners will conduct an informal tour of transportation projects in southwest Iowa. No decisions regarding transportation matters will be made during this tour.
