Senator Chuck Grassley’s staff will conduct traveling office hours in 31 Iowa counties from July 28 to August 4. These sessions are intended for Iowans who need help with federal agencies or want to share their opinions.
Grassley will not be present at these events. Instead, his regional directors—Rochelle Fuller of Cedar Rapids, Penny Vacek of Davenport, Noah Schrad of Des Moines, Jacob Bossman of Sioux City, and Matt Rector of Waterloo—will represent him.
“For 45 years, I've made it a point to hold at least one meeting in every county, every year. I can't meet face-to-face with all three million Iowans, so in addition to mail and telephone communication, my staff holds traveling office hours to ensure my constituents’ concerns are heard and their problems are addressed,” Grassley said. “I encourage Iowans needing assistance to stop by during these upcoming traveling office hours to meet with my staff or contact one of my offices.”
The schedule includes stops at city halls, public libraries, courthouses, and administration buildings across the state. The initiative is part of Grassley’s ongoing effort to maintain regular contact with constituents throughout Iowa.
