The Senate Judiciary Committee has moved forward with two nominations for U.S. Attorney positions. Thomas Albus was nominated to serve as United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, and Adam Mildred was nominated for the Northern District of Indiana. Both nominations were approved by a 12-10 vote.

The committee's actions are part of its regular responsibilities in reviewing and advancing nominees for key federal law enforcement roles. The votes reflect a closely divided decision among committee members.

Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) delivered an opening statement at the executive business meeting where these nominations were considered.

A video of the executive business meeting is available online, along with Chairman Grassley's full statement.
