Bridge maintenance on the U.S. 20 Bridge, also known as the Julien Dubuque Bridge, will necessitate a traffic detour in Dubuque. The construction is slated to begin in the 2026 season. During this period, traffic will be rerouted from U.S. 20 in Dubuque to the U.S.-61/151 Iowa-Wisconsin Bridge crossing. Once in Wisconsin, vehicles will follow Wisconsin Highways 11/35 and then Illinois Highway 35 to rejoin U.S. 20 in East Dubuque.

Hector Torres-Cacho, a Transportation Planner at the Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) District 6 Office, is available for inquiries about the project or translation services. He can be reached at 855-925-2801 or via email at R84670@publicinput.com.
