Iowa meteorologists and media professionals are invited to a webinar focused on winter weather resources. Scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, from 1 to 2 p.m., the session aims to provide valuable insights into how various state agencies prepare for and respond to winter storms.
The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT), in collaboration with the Iowa State Patrol and the National Weather Service, will host the event. The webinar will cover strategies these organizations employ during the winter season and offer tips for effective collaboration with them.
Daniel Yeh, Director of Government & Community Relations at Iowa DOT, Craig Bargfrede, Winter Operations Administrator at Iowa DOT, Alex Dinkla, Public Information Officer at Iowa State Patrol, Chad Hahn from NOAA/National Weather Service-Des Moines, and Sinclair Stolle, Iowa DOT 511 Administrator will present during the session.
